1973 HONDA CR250M ELSINORE

General:  Light restoration completed on this 73 CR250M in winter 2001. All compontents of the bike have been serviced and or replaced including wheel bearings, new tubes and tires, sprockets, chain, shocks, fork seals and springs, hand grips and other rubber items, complete engine rebuild, paint, etc….  Bike has never been raced and is an excellent example of these vintage motocross bikes.

Exterior:  Fenders, sidepanels have been painted the correct silver/green.  The tank on this bike is perfect.  Not a dent or ding. The frame is in nice original condition and has not been repainted and still looks good.  The seat has one small tear but hardly worth replacing the cover for.  All grips, levers and lever covers are new.  Handlebars have been replaced with a set of aftermarket bars.

Engine:  The engine has been gone through even though it did not need it.  Cyl was bored and fit with a .10 over  piston & ring set.  All engine bearings and seals have been replaced.  Rebuild was performed by Honda expert Mark Mcgrew.

Suspension:  Rear shocks are new Works gas shocks.  Front springs were replaced with works springs match to the rear shocks and for a 185lb average rider.
