1967 Shelby GT500

The first picture in this series is what a 26,000 Shelby looks like after it is riden hard and put away for 12 years.  This picture was taken in 1986 when I purchased this car.  It had been stored for 12 years without moving just before I acquired it.  In its earlier life it acquired very few miles as it saw drag racing action with an owner installed 427 side oiler.  It was told to me that the car was a mid 10 second car in its day.

I completely disassembled the car to the bare frame and gave it a proper restoration.  I have restored serveral 67 shelby’s and this one turned out exceptional.
