Restored in 1988.

   

This car was the very first Shelby that I did a ground up restoration on.  It started with a Britteny Blue Shelby I purchased in 1986.  The car was a solid GT500 that lived its life in Montana and actually spent some time in Shelby Montanta.  The color was changed to Nightmist Blue since I was not that fond of the Britteny Blue.  I would have changed my mind on the color change if I would have seen in real life a Britteny Blue Shelby.  I had never seen one before and the faded out color of the paint on this original unrestored car did not give me the incentive to leave the color the same.
